Who am I?
I’m a 40 year old guy from The Netherlands. At the moment I’m working in the language and translation services team of Credit Suisse in Zurich. I’m responsible for developing and implementing the global technology strategy in the area of language.

I first studied computer science for 4 years at Fontys University of Professesional Education in Eindhoven. After this studies I had the opportunity to start a so called pre-master at TU/e. This pre-master is at the department of Technology Management and gave me ( when finished ) admission to the master studies Human Technology Interaction. Unfortunately I had to stop this studies per August 2007 but decided to look for an alternative which I found in Tilburg. They started a new master studies called ‘Human Aspects of Information Technology’. I did a pre-master and after a year I successfully finished this pre-master and could start with my Masters. For my master thesis I decided to do an internship in Switzerland, and found a project with CLS Communication in Basel. The focus of my project was to improve the usability of the terminology search website from CLS Communication. In September 2010 I finished my thesis and graduated with honours.

After CLS Communication I made a plunge into the finance sector where I worked on the digitalization of financial research for the Chief investment office of UBS.

When I’m not working I spend my time on a lot of different things (too many hobbies) I like reading the ins and outs of new technologies and playing around with electronics to create my own home automation system. Going for a hike up in the mountains, make an occasional photo (see the gallery) and I try to go for a run at least 2 times a week.

Ok, enough background information about me, have a look on the site!
