‘The need for’ contact is the thing I wanted my viewers to experience with this photo. The photo is made in response to the week 16 picture assignment from the computer forum Gathering of Tweakers. The theme for that week was contact/interaction. I always try to be creative with the theme and came up with the idea to make a picture of a hand touching a mirror (contact with yourself). Christine was so kind to place her hand on the mirror so I could make this picture. I used my new Canon EF 50/1.8 II and changed contrast and toning to come up with this result.
